I first met Vicky as her student at the Lotus Yoga School in Tel Aviv. She welcomed me into the community and took me on as a student. I’ve always felt that Lotus Yoga was a second home for me which is largely due to the atmosphere and energy that Vicky brings to her studio and students. She is an exemplary teacher and displays a tremendous wealth of knowledge of the human body in its form and function, as well as, yoga asana, pranayama, meditation, ayurveda and philosophy.
After studying under Vicky for some time I began to teach in the studio and eventually to also teach in the teacher training program. Over the course of many years I have seen Vicky as my teacher, mentor, peer and colleague. In all these roles Vicky excels, bringing professionalism and warmth to all the people she connects with. Teaching with Vicky has been an extremely rewarding experience, she has given me the space and opportunities to develop myself as a teacher while knowing when and how to support me in my process.
Vicky brings tremendous energy, love and devotion to her students. She sets an excellent example of living her yoga and she is always working to further her own knowledge and education. She travels around to world to study with various senior teachers who inform her practice and teaching. Her dedication to her own practice is inspiring as she sets an example for her students in embodying the yoga practice in all aspects of her life.
It has been a blessing to have Vicky in my life. I hope that our relationship and practice together will continue to grow for years to come. I am eternally grateful for all that Vicky has given to me, she has transformed my practice, life and teaching.
